They can fit into Mark Groups, DoT groups, or just raw-burst groups - adding passive bonuses like high scouting and the lack of need to ever worry about trap disarming. GR's are all-rounders that you typically use to flesh out a composition (you rarely build comps around GR's themselves). No true self-sustain other than things such as dodge & stealth, which aren't guarantees. + Great projection, mobility, and utility. + One of only two classes that can cure diseases on people other than themselves. + Highest trap-disarm and scouting on the roster (very good to have). + One of (if not the) fastest character on the roster. She's kind of middling power right now, IMHO, but she's pretty workable.

You really need to stack DMG, CRIT, or ideally both to take full advantage of her. Her main disadvantage is the overall base damage. Flashy daggers also has quite respectable damage for an AoE attack. Double GRs starting the in the back two ranks allows you to spam lunges for three consecutive rounds before both end up in the front as long as you get their speeds properly set up.ĭodge tanking is not worthwhile for a single character, IMHO. Pairs well with Jester, HWM, MaA, Holy Lance Crus, SB, etc. Lunge is her strongest skill, so she really works best in parties where you can use it multiple times in the fight without having to Shadow Fade. She has a huge natural crit rate, which you can push up to nearly 50% without a too much difficulty. She's fast with high ACC, so with Thrown Dagger or Lunge you can often pick off a back row stress dealer or something. Maybe pick to the face is what makes her a specialist and gives her a role? Arbalest and hound master both do more dmg to marked targets. Highway man has aoe with grape shot, and pretty equal ranged abilities and stronger melee ones. If you want her to spam stealth into lunge combos she's kind of like a jester doing solos into finale but can do it more than once on a prolonged boss fight. I think she is a pretty good class, she just seems to lack a role.

Maybe combo her with plague doctor and man at arms? Let man at arms buff crit while she stealths and lunges into blighted targets? That could potentially be some huge damage.
Darkest dungeon 2 grave robber plus#
I guess you could sub hound master for grave robber but you'd lose a stress heal or stun for probably equal damage plus a blight. I typically bring all hound master, arbalest, bounty hunter with marks over a grave robber. Comboing with lunge for bosses though seems quite effective.Īnyway she's just a little more confusing to build a team with cus her abilities aren't as straightforward as say a highwayman and I never know whether to combo with marks for her or not. But it doesn't seem that good in regular fights. So maybe it's quite good on bosses, really building up crit and the dmg buff means you get back skipping a turn. However you get 18% crit and a lot more dodge. So you get +100% dmg, but that's negated by the fact that you blew a round doing no dmg. Her combo is weird because the stealth really only lasts one turn since one round is used when you activate it. I have thought about using her as a dodge tank but that's hard to do unless you put an antiquarian in the first position to force guard and that's not realistic for high level dungeons. I really like her high dodge but it uses a whole turn to get her dodge buff, though that's not always an issue cus she almost always moves first and then with the extra speed will be all but guaranteed to move first in subsequent rounds. Her blight it not super strong either, more like utility. It's kind of a confusing class, being half ranged, half melee, taking advantage of marks but not able to mark herself.
